All of Rotary’s projects require ethical administration and accountability to ensure all donated funds are spent using good judgement, fully supporting the project goals and outcomes.  This project is no exception.

  1. Wasim Jarrah, is from the Rotary Club of Newmarket. Wasim has close ties to several Beirut Rotary Clubs. He will be on the ground in Beirut to ensure the equipment requested for purchase, is exactly what was received.  He will be taking pictures of the model plates of the equipment, the equipment itself, and all of the accessories.  Copies of all invoices and supporting documentation will also be saved.  Habib will also provide video coverage, where possible.

  2. Habib Saba, Rotary Club of Beirut Cosmopolitan is leading the Global Grant Initiative and has had extensive experience with Global Grants, its stringent requirements, and follow up reporting. Their club is recognized as a leader in Global Grants (and the predecessors Matching Grants), over the decades we have done more Global Grants in numbers and dollar amounts than the rest of the clubs in their District combined, a district that takes in 9 countries. They are recognized for our transparency, professionalism and international collaboration and our record is unblemished.

  3. Steve Rutledge, chair of the International Sponsoring Partner Committee has extensive experience, working in a third world country, paying strict attention to detail for every dollar that gets spent.  His accountability reports are thorough with pictures, references and digitized invoices for easy reference and audit purposes.  His closing reports remain the most detailed in the District.
